Your baby will weigh about 1 ½ pounds and be about 12 inches long by the end of this month. Movements of its arms and legs are easier for you to feel now. Its skin is wrinkled and red and slowly being filled with fat and its fingernails continue to grow.
You will continue to gain about ¾ pound a week now or up to 3 to 4 pounds a month. Your baby will begin to move a lot and you will begin to notice patterns of quiet and activity. Your breasts continue to grow larger. Some women may have colostrum (early milk) leaking from their breasts. Your hair may feel thicker and oilier. You’re usually feeling good; people may tell you how good you look.
Get your prenatal check up. Continue to eat a well balanced diet, with plenty of protein fresh fruits and vegetables. Avoid cigarettes and alcohol. Get exercise every day. Take time for a rest period every day.
