We provide care to women during their pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum (the period shortly after birth).  Our practice has a prenatal package which consist of all prenatal visits, delivery, the actual delivery and one visit following delivery.  Please note: our packages do not include any hospital fees.

In Office Lab

For the convenience of our patients, Palm Valley Women’s Care offers blood draws at each facility (Goodyear, AZ, Phoenix, AZ, and Laveen, AZ).

In-Office Ultrasounds

3-D ultrasound is the most advanced technology used by ultrasound technicians during pregnancy .  The 3D ultrasound works by directing ultrasound waves from multiple angles.  The waves are then reflected back and captured.  This process provides the clearest images of a fetus and is used in most cases for enjoyment.  The 3D ultrasound provides detailed facial features such as hair, eyes, nose and lips.  Facial expression may also be captured such as a yawn and a smile.  This ultrasound is offered in our office as enjoyment for patients.  There are packages for review under our 3D ultrasound section of our web page.

Fetal Non Stress test

The test is done if you have gone past your due date, or in the month leading up to your due date. It is also performed if you have a high-risk pregnancy. Some other reasons for a non-stress test are diabetes, gestational hypertension,  the baby is less active and too much or too little amniotic fluid. The test usually takes 20 to 60 minutes. This simple, painless procedure is done during pregnancy to evaluate your baby’s condition. A technician straps two devices to your belly, one monitors your baby’s heartbeat and movement; the other records contractions in your uterus.

Nuchal Translucency Test

The Nuchal Translucency screening test, also called the nuchal fold scan, is often used as the first test to determine whether you are at risk of having a baby with a chromosomal abnormality, such as Down Syndrome, trisomy 13 or trisomy 18. It cannot diagnose an abnormality; it only determines if you are at high risk for an abnormality and can help you decide if you want to undergo more invasive and riskier diagnostic testing such as Chorionic Villus Sampling or amniocentesis. Unlike these diagnostic tests, nuchal translucency screening is painless and involves no risk to you or your baby.

We aim to provide personalized care to women and where appropriate, to their partners. We want to offer the latest technology and cost effective related medical services, provide patients and their family with a friendly and comfortable atmosphere, and build strong relationships between patient, doctor and staff.
